SOLA light engines offer access to modern solid state illumination, with all its performance and efficiency benefits, at a price comparable to most metal halide light sources. With reliability and maintenance-free service built in, they provide sustainable and cost-effective replacements for traditional mercury-containing arc lamps. The SOLA SM model is designed to operate via simple manual on/off control or with the aid of a foot pedal.
Lumencor now offers the spectral breadth of an arc lamp and the flexibility of a filter wheel in it’s most powerful and comprehensive light engine design. The SPECTRA X model has been released to afford the end user the ability to exchange single bandpass filters within the light engine. Lumencor preserves performance in the form of cool, stable, robust, spectrally pure, powerful outputs and now allows the user to make his or her own choices about bandpass during use in the field. This provides individual users, core facilities and OEMs an adaptable solid state excitation subsystem on par with the flexibility of a filter wheel but without additional moving parts.
MIRA light engine is Lumencor’s high performance, bright, solid state illumination subsystem designed for routine, clinical fluorescence applications.
MIRA houses multiple independent light sources and with no fan needed for cooling, it produces no vibrations. It directly couples to all major manufacturer’s clinical microscopes and is completely maintenance free.
LIDA light engine is designed to work hand-in-hand with the latest monochrome cameras to generate RGB color transmitted light images with unprecedented sensitivity, spatial resolution, speed and color fidelity. LIDA integrates three solid state sources, including Lumencor’s patented green luminescent light pipe, with the sophisticated control electronics required for high speed synchronization of light output with camera exposure. Transmitted light images are captured in one electronically controlled high-speed sequence.
